M1 Vtg Traditional Macedonian Turkish Handmade socks-ethnic folk costume. This is a pair of socks, knitted by the mountain people in the eastern part of Turkey. They are new old stock. I bought these at an estate sale, but they were never used. They were part of a collectors textiles. These are cotton or possibly wool socks. They do not have too much stretch if youre going to wear them. The toe to the heel measures about 10 inches. And they are almost 4 inches across. The sock height. Is from the bottom of the foot up 16 inches. The top opening is 4.25inches. I doubt if somebodys going to wear these, I would think they were just some thing you would collect. Vibrant colors beautifully made. But a collectors item nonetheless. These were actually never worn. They are stunning. These are also my magnificent Christmas stockings.Mailing first class.
