This necklace is an absolute treasure! I purchased with a few other items from a fantastic antique dealer in Salzburg Austria. It is a traditional Bavarian piece with a bohemian red garnet. It’s appx 16”- 17.5”. It tests the same as sterling silver, but I was told this is actually 835 silver. It has a few markings 1 of which I believe says 835. I can make out the 8 and the 3 but not what follows. Circa 1920s.
