Antique French tinplate powder flask from 1900s with its chain. One side features a Druid in profile and the other side features a naked witch with long hair with a pretty trigger clasp. Appearing at the time of the invention of the firearm (15th century), powder bulbs are intended to contain charging powder. Also called a powder horn, this small black powder container was an essential accessory for the firearm user until the invention of the cartridge in the 19th century.The old black powder bulb is in good condition with a superb antique patina.*Note, this is a vintage/antique item and is sold as-is in used condition impeccable for everyday use. excellent materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
