I didnt find the directions. There is a button for setting the power but i cant tell you what it does, or how it works. I see the display flashes numbers after powerup.They do power up and heat (tested in big bowl of water).I measured the power being pulled. It is in the range of 60 to 70 watts, doesnt seem to be adjusted very well. But if you just need to heat up some water and dont worry about accurate control, these should be ok.Amazon sells 2 for $25 impeccable for everyday use. finest materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
