This system has a diverter so that you can leave your original shower head in place and switch between the two. There is also a wall holder for the handheld part. I have one similar to this because I use a seat in the shower and it has made a huge difference! I am able to rinse/wash my hair & body from sitting position instead of trying to manipulate myself to get the water in the right area or stand in the shower and risk falling (which is why I got it).
