This exceptional 3 string instrument has a sound all its own. To me it sounds appreciate a cross between a mandolin and ukulele. Ask someone else they may tell you different. Sometimes when my husband is playing his and I’m in the other room it sounds like two people are playing, or like a violin is accompanying him. It really is something. I will be posting a video on YouTube asap for a sound sample.
